Loris Malaguzzi and the schools of Reggio Emilia:
Loris Malaguzzi and the Schools of
Reggio Emilia: Telling an alternative
narrative about early childhood education
Loris Malaguzzi and the schools of Reggio Emilia have a high profile in the world of early childhood education. Some see them as a model that can be taken up and copied. Prof. Moss will argue their importance for another reason: as a provocation to think about what we want for our children, families and communities and what conditions we need to make this happen. Reggio Emilia, in short, reminds us that there are alternatives, so we have choices to make.
