Early Childhood Educator Certification – Term Position
Kids on Campus Children’s Centre, Cranbrook, BC
Community Campus Children’s Society is a nonprofit childcare society seeking a full-time employee for a term position to join our dynamic team! This position is to cover a maternity leave with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.
This position is 40 hours/week. We offer competitive wages, benefits, sick days, and paid professional development opportunities. Starting wage is $19.06 + $6.00 government top up and a $2.00 top up for the Columbia Basin Trust (upon approval), for a total of $25.06/hour, $27.06, with approval from CBT.
We are looking for applicants who meet the following requirements:
- Possess a current ECE certificate to practice.
- A valid Criminal Record Check letter.
- Current first aid certificate.
- We are looking for a compassionate individual who enjoys playing and connecting with children. Has the experience and knowledge base necessary to understand developmentally appropriate practice within a play-based/emergent curriculum environment.
- Must be reliable, flexible, and willing to think outside the box.
- Self-motivated, fun loving, creative, and full of energy!
