We are a successful not-for-profit provider located in Woodland Drive, Vancouver, and have been serving the Grandview-Woodland community since 1973. Our child care facility consists of one 3-5 program and two school age programs, soon to be three! Our dedicated out of school care space provides care for children ages 5 to 12 for before and after school, professional development days and during the Winter, Spring and Summer breaks. Qualifications:

School Age Certificate

Required Experience:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • School Care Educator Certificate/Responsible Adult Certificate and/or ECE certification
  • Current First Aid Certification
  • Written verification of physical and mental good health as stated by a qualified physician
  • Clear criminal record check
  • Class 4 license or the ability to acquire during probationary period is an asset
  • Ability to communicate well in English, verbally and in writing

We are seeking individuals that have a passion for working with children and families; that have Early Learning and Care experience, skills and abilities; and enjoy working in a team environment. 

Salary & Benefits:

WHAT WE OFFER

Salary - $21.72/hour + $6.00/hour ECE Wage Enhancement for ECE qualifications

Benefits – 100% employer paid Dental, Extended Health Benefits, Life Insurance and ADD, Medical Services Plan

Vacation entitlement – 15 days, prorated the first year

Additional Information:

HOURS OF WORK

Monday to Friday – 7:30 to 9:00 am & 2:00 to 6:00 pm

Holidays & School Breaks - Must be available full-time hours

July & August – 7 hour shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm

Opportunities for extra hours at Grandview Terrace, Eagles in the Sky and Mount Pleasant facilities
