FT Infant/Toddler Educator

Little Wings Day Care Centre Society is seeking a full-time Infant Toddler Educator to join our Infant program. We are a not-for-profit centre that believes early childhood educators are an integral part of our daycare and each person brings their own uniqueness to our team. We encourage our teachers to collaborate, support and mentor one another as we believe we continue to grow when enriching the lives of children in our care. We believe in creating an environment that accepts ECE’s to use their strengths while enjoying a welcoming atmosphere that allows them to bring their individual talents to our programs.

Responsibilities

• Interact with children to provide quality care and deliver creative age appropriate activities.
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children and families.
• Adhere to and ensure all safety and supervision standards are maintained according to licensing regulations.
• Collaborate and cooperate with fellow Teachers to establish a strong team environment.
• Follow Little Wings Daycare policies and procedures.
• Adhere to the ECEBC Code of Ethics.

Qualifications:

Post Basic ECE

Additional Qualifications:

• Valid BC Infant Toddler Certificate
• Valid BC ECE Certificate
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Consent to Criminal Record Check

Salary & Benefits:

• $25.00 per hour plus additional $6 per hour for ECE-WE Grant
