Early Childhood Educator

The Ark Playday Centre is a not-for-profit run, $10 a day childcare facility. We have a multi-age, group, preschool and school-age program. All of our programs have a strong emphasis on spending time in the outdoors and in the community. At the Ark, we aim to foster a child's positive self-image and to help them develop a range of skills through a variety of activities. Most importantly, we provide a fun, safe and accepting environment where children are encouraged to explore, play and learn at their own pace. We are seeking an ECE who is caring, creative and passionate about educating young children. Orientation and training will be provided. 

Qualifications:

Basic ECE

Additional Qualifications:

• Valid ECE license to practice from BC registry
• Valid Childcare first aid certificate
• Criminal record check
• Class 4 drivers license an asset

Salary & Benefits:

• Schedule: 35 hours per week between the hours of 7:30am-5:30pm
• Starting wage $28-$30
