We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators and Infant and Toddler Educators to join our team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their future education. Duties:

- Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities

- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment

- Document observations and complete pedagogical narrations

- Provide individualized guidance to support each child's needs

- Monitor and assess each child's development and progress

- Collaborate with parents and colleagues and communicate regularly about children's progress.

- Excellent spoken and written English language a must

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment

Requirements:

- License to practice as an Early Childhood Educator or Infant Toddler Educator in BC

- Valid First Aid/ CPR

- Food Safe

- Clear Criminal Record Check from the Ministry of Justice

- 2-3 positive references

- Experience working with children in an educational setting

- Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach and open-ended play based learning

- Familiar with BC's Early Learning Framework, ECEBC's Code of Ethics, and ECPN

- Strong english communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to effectively manage a classroom of young children

- Knowledgeable about children's nutritional needs to educate about our Nutrition Program

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour plus the Government Wage Enhancement 

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
