Olive Grove is a licensed childcare facility for Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers and School Age children in North and West Vancouver. We are looking for a dynamic Infant/Toddler Early Childhood Educator.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging, play-based daily programming and provocations rooted and inspired by curiosity and the Reggio Emilia philosophy.

  • Create a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children feel safe to explore and express themselves.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families.

  • Observe and document children’s progress and interests, using this information to guide your teaching.

  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators to create a rich learning community.

  • Light housekeeping expected. We treat our classrooms as a sacred spaces for the child's learning so keeping them clean and organized and inviting.

 

Qualifications:

  • Early Childhood Educator I/T license issued by the BC Ministry.

  • Minimum 1 year in the field.

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

  • Proven experience in a daycare or preschool setting, preferably with knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Have a desire to work in progressive, kind, and exceptional childcare on the North Shore.

  • A passion for fostering creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning.

  • CPR and First Aid certification 

  • Criminal record check

Pay: $23.10+ per hour plus wage enhancement

Work Location: In person at our Lynn Valley or Dundarave Locations.
