The Early Childhood Educator works under the direction of the Executive Director to implement an emergent, nature and play-based Early Learning program. They will provide quality child care to community families from ages 0-5.

Into the Woods Early Learning Child Care Studio is currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of: Early Childhood Educator (ECE), or Infant/Toddler Educator (ECE IT)

Qualifications:

Basic ECE

Additional Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• Certified Early Childhood Educator, currently licensed to practice in BC is mandatory , I/T certificate an asset
• Current First Aid 
• Food safe certification an asset
• Clear Criminal Record check
• Experience working in nature programs an asset 
• Experience working with children ages 0 - 5
• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Willingness to work various shifts during operating hours

• $23-$26 per hour
• BC Certified ECE Wage Enhancement pay
•  4% vacation pay plus one week (summer) and one week (winter) paid holiday closure
